Description
The value of EFM is an ability to appropriately detect, analyze, and display maternal and fetal signal data. Equipment capabilities, limitations, and troubleshooting strategies are important aspects of providing appropriate obstetric care, especially when there is suspicion for signal ambiguity (coincidence). Fourth in the FHM Strip Review Series, this session will help attendees understand key concepts related to maternal-fetal heart rate coincidence and other types of artifact.
